BACKGROUND
Dr Teresa English is a dentist with over thirty years of experience. She graduated from Adelaide University and moved to Coolamon in 1994, where, with her husband Dr Peter English, she established the Coolamon Medical and Dental Clinic.
Teresa and Peter lived in Coolamon until 2018. They raised their four children in that delightful village but as the children have flown the nest, they have relocated to the big smoke! (Wagga Wagga).
Teresa started working with Dr Wild in 2015 and has enjoyed the opportunity to interact with other skilled professionals. She currently divides her time between Coolamon and the Tompson St practice.
Teresa is experienced in many facets of dentistry, treating patients from the very young to the most mature with the utmost respect and care. She takes great delight in treating a second generation of patients.
Her experience includes minimal and preventive dentistry, restorations to enhance smiles, restoring broken teeth back to their original state, complex restorations such as crowns to prevent further breakdowns, root canal therapy, extractions and provision of dentures.
“I take particular pride in creating aesthetically pleasing smiles in a financially prudent way. My attention to detail in colour, form and function is paramount". Attendance of regular postgraduate courses ensures that Teresa is up to date with the latest of treatments.
Teresa is strongly committed to preventive care and believes that "an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.”
Away from the practice, Teresa enjoys playing the piano, spending time with her family, dabbling in many arts and crafts, travelling and photography and for ten years was Choral Director of the Cantilena singers.
Teresa has enjoyed greatly working with Dr Wild and is looking forward to continuing to care for her patients under the new ownership of Dr Tom Shumack.
